Must have guts

He had that flirting smile on his face again, the one she fell for. Shouldn’t she be use to it by now?
Obviously she had diversion written all over her face, that’s all they want her for – flirting, nothing more. She doesn’t have the right to the benefits of it.
Minded, if it were me, I’d at least set a couple of kisses, but not her. She isn’t like that, has no guts. It’s like that saying… how does it go? Oh yeah: “Overpowering cowardice or not enough courage to pursuit happiness?”¹
I don’t know, and she simply doesn’t care.

Grande parte do tempo sou “de Lua” – muito embora meu signo seja dito da Terra. Não obstante, recentemente descobri outro paradoxo astral – talvez razão de ser assim.
Sempre pensei que o conflito fosse a resultante passageira de hormônios da adolescência, mas me parece que esta característica é/ será constante na minha vida.
Segundo o horóscopo chinês sou Dragão; e apenas há alguns dias atrás descobri que 23 de Abril é dia de São Jorge – guerreiro que vence o dragão – preciso explicar mais?
Ao menos coragem é outra constante.

La Oreja de Van Gogh

Sometimes I wonder: had Van Gogh really loved that girlfriend of his, wouldn’t he have given her his finger?
No doubt his talent depend upon it, this would be a pretty convincing proof of his love – creepy, crazy and all, but a proof nonetheless – after all, few people would give up their talent or their life reason in the name of love.
Don’t get me wrong, would anyone do something of the sort for me I’d had broken up with the poor bastard on the grounds that I do not date people who have no self-respect.

FYI: "La Oreja de Van Gogh" is a Spanish Pop Band. I'll elaborate on them some other day.

Bucket List II

I was trying to remember all the things I’ve always dream of doing (some achievable, others not so much). Before 2005, I genuinely thought I did not stand a chance accomplishing more than 3 items in a newer future, as it turns out, I’ve crossed quite a few.

1. Be an exchange student
2. See snow
3. Dive
4. Fly a plane
5. Parachuting
6. Visit Europe
7. Spend New Year’s in Sydney (Australia)
8. Interact with wild animals
9. Have my own place
10. Write a book and be published
11. Make a difference
12. Become a Brazilian diplomat

The Bucket List

Just now I’ve turned on the TV, and there it was in HBO – The Bucket List – I’ve seen it before, and really like it, it’s one of those funny movies that in the end leaves you wondering about how you live your life.

Would I have written down my bucket list a few years back people would call me crazy and probably lock me away in an asylum – just in case you wonder: I was never, and might I say am not about to die – I am though a dreamer, a big one.

If you shall dream, dream of stars.

Introduction

So I decided to start blogging again, this time the proposal is to write 100-word pieces (title not included). The idea is based on http://www.100words.com/ .
I First heard of it while reading The boy who could but didn’t.

About me: I am probably the messier person on Earth – mom likes to remind me that from time to time. A 20-something university student, who does not know what to do with life after graduating, although has great aspirations for the future.
I don’t know how long this will last – the blog I mean – hope for the best.
