Sometimes I wonder: had Van Gogh really loved that girlfriend of his, wouldn’t he have given her his finger?No doubt his talent depend upon it, this would be a pretty convincing proof of his love – creepy, crazy and all, but a proof nonetheless – after all, few people would give up their talent or their life reason in the name of love.
Don’t get me wrong, would anyone do something of the sort for me I’d had broken up with the poor bastard on the grounds that I do not date people who have no self-respect.
FYI: "La Oreja de Van Gogh" is a Spanish Pop Band. I'll elaborate on them some other day.
